Me and my roommate, Erica Boyle! We are living together in a little flat in Spain with the cutest host mom ever, Elvira. So far things have gone great. My body is a bit confused as to the time of day and what day it is, but I’m sure that will go away quickly.

Erica, Elvira and I were talking in the kitchen after dinner and I made a comment about how cold it was (Erica and I were talking earlier about how we had goosebumps under our pants). Elvira responded by saying, “Oh not its not! At least not right now, anyway.” which made me a bit nervous about the weather. Oh well, if I can get used to the rain in Washington, I can get used to this weather, too.

The cool thing is that she, Elvira, speaks no english. So all of our conversations are in Spanish. The craziest thing is that we can understand her and hold conversation! Guess all those Spanish classes did something… who woulda thunk?
